About

Tresviri Korea is an independent economic and markets analysis blog written for English-speaking readers who want a sharper, more honest read on what is actually moving Korean and global markets.

Most financial commentary picks a side and sticks to it. We do the opposite. Every article on this site is built as a structured debate between three recurring analytical voices, each trained to attack a story from a different angle:

  • The Macro Bear — looks for the structural risk, the flow of capital nobody is pricing in, and the question of who has to sell when the consensus narrative breaks.
  • The Value Hunter — insists on starting with fundamentals and cycle position before any judgment about valuation, and is willing to make the bull case in full before testing it.
  • The Street Pragmatist — cuts through both narratives to ask what actually trades, what the market mechanics say, and what is one layer below the headline.

Each piece ends with a synthesis that tries to reconcile — or honestly fails to reconcile — these three perspectives into something an investor can use.

Our tagline is Three Perspectives. One Economy. We cover Korean equities and the KOSPI, the won, monetary policy, semiconductors and AI infrastructure, and the global stories — from US rates to Middle East geopolitics — that ripple into Korean portfolios.
